The investigation documents how #RacistEU was used by key Kenyan online influencers, in an attempt to put a spotlight on racism in Ukraine against African citizens. An in depth analysis of the #RacistEU revealed that the racist treatment of African refugees escaping Ukraine has cemented much of this apathy on a number of social media users, and anathema in others.
